OGP UK will unveil a new, video measuring machine at PDM 2009 that’s designed not only to produce fast, accurate data, but also offer excellent affordability.
The general purpose OGP StarLite 150 features a high-resolution colour camera and motorised 6.5 to 1 zoom lens with a magnification range of 34x-176x. An optional optical accessory kit is also available for boosting magnification to over 600x.
The table top machine also incorporates a series of patented VectorLight LED white lights which are designed to highlight detail and maximise contrast on even the most complex shaped components.
A user-friendly graphical interface and intuitive software make it easy and quick to create complete inspection programs, the system’s powerful range of editing tools allow users to update routines at the click of a button and images can be stored at varying magnifications for visual inspection records.
Priced at £9,560, OGP says the StarLite's combination of superior optics and advanced software boost the efficiency of inspection measurement and generate consistently accurate and repeatable measurements.
OGP UK’s stand at D33b will also feature a working demonstration of the SmartScope Flash 200 non-contact, multi-sensor machine. One of the most popular systems in the OGP range, the machine can be seamlessly transformed into a cost-effective, multi-sensor system with the addition of a laser or touch-probe.
