StarLite non-contact co-ordinate measuring machines offer a versatile video based measurement capability, in a bench top format, that is priced to meet most manufacturers' budgets.
StarLites are ideal for accurately and quickly measuring small components. The Gage X software provides the tools required to measure all geometrical features yet is extremely easy to learn and use.
Component features are automatically measured using OGP’s edge detection technology; the operator simply brings the feature to be measured into the camera ‘field of view’ using the manual motion control knobs and then clicks, the feature’s characteristics are then analysed, captured, stored and reported.
StarLites are equipped with a colour camera, zoom optics, programmable LED lighting, which now includes the patented SmartRing™ illuminator and CompuFocus™, a unique facility for making accurate and repeatable Z measurements.
StarLites are fully programmable co-ordinate measuring machines (CMMs). Inspection routines can be recorded and used for subsequent component measurement guaranteeing repeatability and reproducibility. This delivers data that can be relied on to confirm part quality and control production processes.
