SmartScopes CNCs are compact, large volume CMMs with the versatility to measure 3D geometry using a combination of probes, single or dual rotary axes and software applications.

SmartScope CNC has a high quality 12:1 zoom lens that provides excellent optical performance over its entire range. This patented AccuCentric® lens maintains accuracy by automatically calibrating itself with each magnification change.

Patent illumination is provided by SmartRing™, OGPs patented vector light that gives total control of lighting angles making it easy to pick out important features for repeatable and accurate optical probing.

OGP lead the field in multi-sensor functionality. SmartScope CNC can be fitted with a Renishaw touch probe and a TTL laser probe facilitating the measurement of full 3D geometry and fast accurate surface scanning.

Measure X® metrology software provides the user with all the tools needed to make geometric measurements. The software quickly controls all probe changes. Inspection routines are automatically recorded and easily edited using icon driven commands. Data outputs can be customised with reports available in printed or digital formats.

Additional analysis of surface, profile, Statistical Process Control (SPC) and part to CAD comparisons can be collated by using seamlessly integrates companion application programmes.

The Smart Scope CNC range has a measurement envelope of up to 1500mm x 2000mm x 300mm (X,Y,Z) making them suitable for large components of for multi-loading batches of smaller parts for Statistical Process Control.
