SmartScope ZIP Lite is built on the standard MVP metrology platform but benefits from having the performance and versatility of the ZIP multi-sensor optical system.

SmartScope ZIP Lite coordinate measuring machines are fully automatic and incorporate a colour camera, AccuCentric™ Zoom optics, (a patented technology that calibrates each magnification during operation) and programmable LED lighting including OGP’s patented SmartRing™ illuminator.

These features guarantee optimum performance in all environments, delivering accurate, fast and consistent measurement results.

Multi-sensor technology is at the heart of all ZIP models; users can add a Renishaw touch probe, on or off axis Laser, low force Feather probe or Nanometre white light sensor, to deliver maximum versatility on a single machine. This combination of sensors significantly increases throughput, accuracy and speed of information.

MeasureMind 3D software controls all ZIP systems, the software is extremely powerful yet easy and intuitive to use.

Fully automatic measurement routines can be programmed in minutes and sensors can be switched with the click of a button. Data outputs can be customised to meet personal reporting formats or used by seamless analysis packages to compute 3D surface profiles, Part to CAD comparisons, Statistical Process Control or for Reverse Engineering.

SmartScope ZIP Lite can be further enhanced with rotary devices working singularly or in tandem to provide up to 5 axis of movement.
