SmartScope ZIP multi-sensor coordinate measuring machines offer high speed, high accuracy operation with total versatility.
The OGP SmartScope ZIP metrology platform has been designed to provide maximum stiffness and stability in all environments; this facilitates a high speed operation whilst maintaining extreme levels of accuracy.
The ZIP range incorporates a high resolution video camera, superior 5:1 Zoom optics with patented AccuCentric® auto-calibrating capability and the versatility of full multi-sensor operation.
Illumination is provided by a range of programmable LED light sources including the patented 8 vector, 8 sector SmartRing™. This lighting combination, in conjunction with OGP’s advanced edge detection algorithms; ensure consistent feature recognition, guaranteeing accuracy, repeatability and reproducibility of measurement.
Multi-sensor technology is at the heart of all OGP ZIP coordinate measuring machines; users can add a Renishaw touch probe, TTL Laser, low force Feather probe or Nanometre white light sensor, to provide complete versatility on a single machine. This combination of sensors significantly increases throughput, accuracy and speed of information.
MeasureMind 3D software controls all ZIP systems, the software is extremely powerful yet easy and intuitive to use.
Fully automatic measurement routines can be programmed in minutes and sensors can be switched with the click of a button. Data outputs can be customised to meet personal reporting formats or used by seamless analysis packages to compute 3D surface profiles, Part to CAD comparisons, Statistical Process Control (SPC) or for Reverse Engineering.
MeasureMind 3D can also directly communicate with robot or pallet loading devices facilitating unmanned operation and closed loop manufacturing.
OGP SmartScope ZIPs can be further enhanced with rotary devices working singularly or in tandem to provide up to 5 axis of movement.
